Titus, Olga, Liesa, Daan and Serine are still in the running for victory in ‘Celebrity MasterChef Vlaanderen’. They are given a lot of heat when they have to serve Thai cuisine on their plates. No cakewalk!
And then there were still five of them! Week after week, famous faces had to leave the kitchen of ‘Celebrity MasterChef Vlaanderen’. Titus, Olga, Liesa, Daan and Serine are still there, but the question is who will die this time? It will be a spicy episode, and you can take that very literally this time, because Thai cuisine is central.
Feeding the soul
The participants are one by one crazy about Thai cuisine, but honestly admit that they have never dared to try it themselves. “Thai means eating in or taking away,” says Titus. “But that’s not something I’m skilled in.” Daan has also never prepared it before, although as a rookie he is of course not shocked by it. Fortunately, they get help from top chef Dokkoon Kapueak, the only Thai star chef in the Benelux.
Olga and Serine are extremely enthusiastic. “African cuisine, Asian cuisine, cuisines from far away… I always have the feeling that they not only feed my stomach, but also my soul,” says the latter. The candidates with the best versions of a typical Thai dish can breathe a sigh of relief. For the others, the dreaded cook-off and an exit await…
