Stress management

Chronic stress can disrupt your hormones. Therefore, try to prevent or reduce stress as much as possible. This can be done with relaxation techniques such as yoga and meditation. Do you find meditating difficult? Then just try to sit quietly and just pay attention to your breathing.

Enough sleep

Hydrate

Water is essential for your hormonal functions. Therefore, drink enough water in a day: that is about two liters. Drinking enough water also plays a role in regulating your body temperature and preventing dehydration. Two things that can lead to an imbalance in your hormone balance.

Healthy food

Paying attention to your diet is also useful. Provide enough variety in fruits and vegetables, and pay attention to lean proteins. Foods rich in omega3, such as oily fish, flax seeds and chia seeds, also help balance your hormones. And choose unprocessed foods as much as possible.

Get moving

Regular exercise such as strength training and cardio is very good for your hormonal balance. It helps you maintain a healthy weight but also stimulates the production of endorphins. You produce that substance during exercise; it ensures less stress and a happy(er) feeling.
