Moving story of the English Fallon (30), who has suffered from severe epileptic attacks all her life, sometimes up to two hundred a month. Fortunately, she comes into contact with ‘pharmaceutical-grade cannabis oil’. It may cost her family more than two thousand euros a month – they even sold their house to afford the cannabis oil treatment – but it does wonders for Fallon!

Despair becomes newfound happiness

For decades, the seizures, combined with the powerful epilepsy drug she was prescribed, made it difficult for Fallon to speak, chew food and even sit in a chair.

Fallon barely left her home and her family lived in constant fear that she might suffer fatal injuries during the uncontrollable seizures. “It was really terrible,” says her mother Elaine, “I thought there was no hope anymore.”

Until Fallon was prescribed pharmaceutical-grade cannabis oil.

Cannabis remains out of reach as medicine for most Britons

Her seizures virtually stopped and now, despite still having serious health problems, she can do a different favorite activity every day of the week.

From simple activities such as drawing at home to dance lessons in the local area Mencap Center and even having coffee with her mother – all things that were impossible just a few years ago.

“It changed my beautiful life,” says Fallon as she takes a break from watching her favorite music videos on YouTube, on the couch of the apartment where she now lives semi-independently…

Nevertheless, in this short report from ITV we also see that the British health system is in serious disarray and access to cannabis as medicine is a huge challenge (mentally and financially) for the thousands of British people who could benefit from medicinal cannabis:
