Jean-Marie Pfaff receives extremely tragic family news – Offside

Jean-Marie Pfaff is in the hearts of almost all of Flanders, just like the rest of the family. This is partly due to their highly appreciated appearance in a reality series. The Pfaff family had a highly turbulent year in 2023 and now had to deal with another huge blow.

Health problems and wonderful moments

Last year was one to quickly forget for Jean-Marie and Carmen. After the strong woman of the house suffered a brain hemorrhage and was recovering from it, a new uppercut followed.

At home, Carmen (who was home alone) became the victim of a homejacking. She received several blows but managed to chase away the burglars herself. Since then, a few suspects have been arrested in this case.

In addition to the health problems in the family, there were also some beautiful moments, such as two grandchildren who started a career as models and Jean-Marie’s own exhibition in Beveren.

Dramatic event

But those beautiful moments were now overshadowed by a tragic event. Louis Pfaff, the older brother of the former goalkeeper, recently passed away at the age of 77.

Louis had been in a residential care center for a while after a brain haemorrhage, you know HLN. The funeral took place yesterday. We wish the family a lot of strength.
