A few days ago, British Prince Louis was allowed to blow out six candles, now older sister Charlotte is the birthday girl. To mark her ninth birthday, Kensington Palace has shared a new photo taken by mom Kate.
Princess Charlotte, third in line to the British throne after dad William and older brother George, is the only daughter of William and Kate. She was born on May 2, 2015 at London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. “Congratulations on your ninth birthday, Princess Charlotte,” the royal family captioned the photo on social media. The photo, just like the image shared on April 23 of birthday Prince Louis, was recreated by mom Kate.
Charlotte currently attends the private Lambrook School near Ascot in Berkshire and, according to the palace, enjoys dancing, especially ballet and tap. She has a reputation for being “feisty” compared to her older brother George. Mom Kate previously described her as “the one in charge.”
On July 22, there will be another celebration at Kensington Palace: Prince George will turn 11 years old.
