And where is Valerie hanging out these days?
Almost five years after the closure of her clothing store ‘Histoires de Femmes’, Valerie De Booser (44) is back in the spotlight. And no, not in the fashion world. Koen Wauters’ former wife has made a striking career change and is now a pilates instructor.
On Monday mornings and Thursday evenings Valerie teaches in the Yoga & Pilates studio in Nazareth. She shared images of her new job on social media and told how she said goodbye to her back pain after her first pilates class. Valerie has even trained with the best in the profession, master instructor Sibel Aksu in Genk.
Own strength
In a recent interview, Valerie emphasized her new goal: to make people feel their own power. A satisfied triathlete, who followed Classical Pilates for the first time, indicated that the lessons brought her peace both physically and mentally.
As for her love life, Valerie is currently single, following her divorce from Koen Wauters in 2020 and a short-lived romance afterward. The divorce was recently discussed again due to some candid statements by Koen about their broken marriage in various media. Yet there remains a lot of respect and appreciation between the two, as Valerie previously indicated: “It is not a dream scenario to separate, but it is a good separation.”
