Ilias Bachgada, Olivier Adam and Giel Lecho are the winners of the fourth edition of the ‘Student Challenge’ of the Sint-Niklas study and engineering office SBE. The trio created the best design for the new viewpoint ‘le Jambon de la Semois’ in Vresse-sur-Semois in Wallonia.
The design competition by study agency SBE offers higher education students the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and collaborate on a project. This year the focus was on creating a contemporary design for the new viewpoint ‘le Jambon de la Semois’ in Vresse-sur-Semois.
“An expert jury, composed of members of the SBE engineering firm and external professionals from various fields, praised the six participating teams for their impressive work,” it said. “Ilias Bachgada, Olivier Adam and Giel Lecho formed the winning team and were praised for their design that subtly highlighted the beauty of the place.”
The three were presented with a check worth 2,000 euros. (yjs)
