Videoland is launching a spin-off from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette: The Golden Bachelor. RTL announced this on Friday. The dating program is aimed at people over 65 who are looking for love.

Single men between the ages of 65 and 75 can register from Friday The Golden Bachelor, Videoland reports in a press release. Ultimately, a man is chosen to embark on the adventure. It is still unclear when the program will be shown.

In the dating program, several single women travel to a destination to date ‘the golden bachelor’. During the program they get to know each other better and love may blossom. Every episode there will be a lady with whom the bachelor does not see a romantic future. The intention is that there will ultimately be someone left with whom the bachelor wants to share his life.

It is currently on Videoland The Bachelor to see. Unlike the previous seasons, this series has not one, but two bachelors: the unknown bachelors Rien and Paul. In previous seasons, celebrities Tony Junior and Thomas van der Vlugt looked for love. In The Bachelorette Sylvia Geersen, among others, was looking for a relationship. She got that too, with Joris, but they have now separated.
