Jenelle Evans’ son testifies against ex-stepfather in assault case

--

David Eason (35), the future ex-husband of Jenelle Evans (32), can make his chest wet. It has emerged that Jace (14), the son of the ‘Teen Mom’ star, will soon testify against him in the abuse case filed against him. According to a source, Jace is “eager” to tell his side of the story.

“He can’t wait, he hates David”

In September last year it emerged that David had abused his stepson Jace. Jace told police that David had attempted to strangle him. Naturally, they immediately took this seriously and filed a case against David. His mother, however, did not: Jenelle did not believe the story and Jace was removed from the home, while Jenelle pretended that there was nothing wrong with David.

The relationship between the two is now over and Jenelle has even filed for divorce. She has sided with Jace and seems to finally realize that David is not a sweetheart. A source close to the reality star now reveals The US Sun know that the alleged abuse will come to an end. Jace will testify against David in the assault case and he would be anything but afraid to come face to face with David again. “Jace is determined to testify,” the source said. “He can’t wait, he hates David.”

The alleged assault is said to have taken place outside, next to their neighbor’s house. David allegedly attacked Jace, after which he ran away from home for the third time. Court papers later revealed that David had ‘knowingly’ hurt his stepson, leaving wounds on his arm and neck. Child Protective Services then reported the incident to the police, who found enough evidence to make a case.
