Orc hunting and corny cat jokes in two free games on the Epic Games Store

--

Orcs and cats, what do they have in common? They are central to the free games that Epic Games is giving away in the Store this week.

Thanks to Deallabs leaker We already knew Billbil-kul was one of the games that would be given away for free this week, but the second game was a surprise until Epic Games announced it themselves.

Orcs Must Die 3 for free on the Epic Games Store

The Orcs Must Die series is a special variation on the Tower Defense genre. Once you finally have your defense in order, you still can’t sit back and watch your enemies being slaughtered. No, you step right between you traps and blockades and can attack the oncoming Orcs with your rifle and other weapons. Orcs Must Die 3 is an action-packed Tower Defense game.

In this third part of the series you alternately play in the present and more than 1.5 centuries ago, during a great war with the Orcs. Both periods require their own approach and give you as a player your own arsenal of weapons and special offensive gadgets. There are many orcs, especially in the War Scenarios, so get your chest wet and your nails sharp.

Catquest 2 also free on the Epic Games Store

There is also war in Cat Quest. This time the mutual hatred between dogs and cats has turned into a full-blown war. Yet in this game you play as both a dog and a cat. They are not just two pets, but the kings of both riches, both of whom have lost their thrones. Now they must work together to get both their countries back.

The game can be played both alone and in co-op and offers a journey with magic, monsters and lame cat jokes.

  1. Cat Quest 2 is free on the Epic Games Store this entire week

There is also a lot to look forward to next week. Thanks to Billbil-kun we already knew that we could expect the beautiful Circus Electrique next week. After that week there will be even more fun when the Mega Sale starts in the Epic Games Store.
