World champion Luke Humphries (PDC-1) won the fifteenth night in the Premier League darts on Thursday in Leeds, England. In the final, the 29-year-old Englishman beat the Dutchman Michael van Gerwen (PDC-3) with the smallest difference, 6-5, who is now assured of a place in the play-offs.
The Premier League darts, the most important competition format in the sport, is gradually reaching its conclusion. The fifteenth and penultimate match day was on the program in Leeds.
With Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, two players were already certain of the play-offs with the four best players, but it would be exciting for the other two tickets.
In the semi-finals in Leeds, Humphries defeated Michael Smith (PDC-2) 6-1. Michael van Gerwen beat the 17-year-old phenomenon Luke Littler with the same score.
