Another appointment with history. Club Brugge has almost all of Belgium looking forward to its historic semi-final in the Conference League. Blue and Black certainly don’t think they have a chance against Fiorentina. Can the fans dream yet? This is at stake in the double duel with the Italians.
After 31 years, the Belgian team in the European final?
It’s been since 1993. That was the last time a Belgian club was in the final of a European cup.
It is logical that the hunger for a new final battle is great in our country. If Club Brugge wins its double confrontation with Fiorentina, it can become the 13th Belgian team to do so.
For Blue and Black it has even been 46 years – an eternity in football terms. Then against the great Liverpool, this year versus Aston Villa or Olympiakos?

At least another 3 million euros extra?
Club Brugge has already become more than 11.5 million euros richer through its European adventure.
By participating in the semi-final against Fiorentina, Blue-Black immediately raised 2 million euros. If Club advances to the final, at least another 3 million euros will be added.
And for those who firmly believe in it: a win yields an additional 2 million and a Europa League ticket. Will the counter reach more than 16 million?

Record year for the coefficient?
Up and about it?
After the triumph against PAOK, the Belgian coefficient counter was only as high once: last season. Thanks to the record harvest, Belgium is now assured of 8th place.
It means that in the 2025/2026 season, our country is entitled to two Champions League tickets (one directly, one via preliminary rounds), two Europa League participants (via preliminary rounds) and a Conference League spot.
A great achievement for all the clubs that contributed to the story. Will Club Brugge provide an absolute highlight next week?
