Eurovision songfestival
After her participation with The Common Linnets in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, DeLange became increasingly famous abroad. “The Eurovision Song Contest has brought about enormous change,” she says. “This goes for everyone involved in this song. I know it’s one of the reasons I can travel to Germany so often now, which I love. He gave me the opportunity to have the international career I dreamed of.’
New album
Her new album Tainted will be released on Friday not only in the Netherlands but also abroad, including Germany. After festivals and a theater tour in the Netherlands, a club tour in Germany will follow in the autumn. DeLange is looking forward to that, she says. ‘I can’t wait to tour Germany with the new album in November. I love giving concerts! The energy of the audience, the way the songs develop on stage, being together with my band and the crew and the feeling that you are actively working to get your music heard, feels so good,” the singer concludes.
