A hamburger designed by Tulli Padwa (star of the TV show Shalom Everyone!), a sushi roll from Wout Bru, a Brussels waffle from Roger Van Damme or a Congolese ‘chicken waffle’: the Waagnatie will again be the mecca of snacks for four days this extended Ascension weekend. The sixteenth edition of the Antwerp Proeft culinary festival will take place from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 May. The formula is well-known: renowned restaurants, star chefs, young talent and TV chefs present signature dishes in tasting form. Our journalist went to taste it.
