The lions in the Antwerp zoo have to go on a diet. Not that they are too fat, but the zoo wants a more natural diet. The bite-sized fillets are replaced by carcasses. These are therefore completely dead animals, which means that the lions have to work a little more for their living. It’s more like how animals in the wild eat, although it may take some time for visitors to swallow.
