Johnny Depp enjoys a quiet life in London: “He really feels at home here” | Celebrities

Johnny Depp has had a few turbulent years. About two years ago, the actor found himself opposite his ex-wife Amber Heard in court, where the two fought a defamation case. Several shocking details about their private lives – the two accused each other of domestic violence – became known. In the end, Depp was right on most points, but not without his reputation being seriously damaged. The film reels, with the exception of the new picture ‘Jeanne du Barry’, almost all dried up.

But Depp doesn’t let that bother him, sources tell ‘People Magazine’. The actor is said to currently live in London, where he is involved in music and painting. He would also like to launch his own rum brand. “He is now really prioritizing his health and mental well-being,” he said. “People loved his look at the premiere of ‘Jeanne du Barry’ in the UK. He had his hair cut and looked brushed off. He lost some weight. He feels and looks healthier.”

It sounds like his new place of residence had everything to do with that. “He really feels like London has become a home,” the anonymous sources said. “It’s a quieter life, but it is filled with music and painting. When he is not making films, he plays music with his friends or alone. He is now really focusing on moving forward. He keeps himself busy. There are a lot of distractions, so there isn’t much time to keep thinking about that dark period.” And Depp would not hold any grudges: “There is no hostility towards anyone.”
