First from Korean Air
For Korean Air, it is the first double-decker Airbus to be demolished. The aircraft in question has the registration HL7613 (production number 59) and was grounded by the Koreans at the beginning of the corona crisis. Of the 10 A380s that the company had in use before the corona crisis, 6 have returned to service after the pandemic.

The HL7613 is one of the youngest A380s to have been dismantled to date. Only a few examples of Air France, which has sold out all double-deckers, were slightly younger. Other airlines whose A380s have already been scrapped are Singapore Airlines and Emirates, but those aircraft were older.
