Garrett Akol did not hide his surprise when he was driving along a highway in the American state of Washington on Sunday and suddenly saw four zebras walking. “What on earth is happening here?” he wonders out loud in the video he made of the remarkable scene. “Someone lost their zebras.”

When Garrett shared the images on social media, the comments suggested that “someone Jumanji was playing,” but the animals had simply escaped from the truck transporting them. The zebras saw their opportunity and ran off when the transport driver stopped briefly on the busy I-90 to check that the loading area was still properly locked.
After a short adventure on the highway, three of the four animals were captured by the police, who were helped by a man who has fifteen years of experience as a bullfighting and rodeo clown, and who happened to be in the area. The fourth zebra managed to escape and is still roaming free near North Bend, according to American media. Police ask residents to contact them if they see the animal walking.
