A 36-year-old man was arrested in the London suburb of Hainault on Tuesday after attacking people with a sword. Five people were injured, and one of them, a 13-year-old boy, has since died.

Police were called in the morning to a vehicle that had crashed into a house in Hainault, east London. There were reports that people had also been stabbed during that incident. When police arrived on the scene, the suspect also attacked two officers. The man used a sword as a weapon.

The entire neighborhood was cordoned off and the Hainault metro station was temporarily closed. The man with the sword was tasered and was arrested after about twenty minutes. The police soon announced that there was no terrorism involved in the incident. There is also no search for other people.

Five injured people, including two police officers and a minor, were taken to hospital. The latter, a 13-year-old boy, succumbed to his injuries. The police confirmed this The Guardian.

According to the police, the stabbed officers suffered serious injuries, but their injuries were not life-threatening. The same goes for the two other injured people.
