According to the Aix-en-Provence public prosecutor’s office, the Gendarmerie Nationale will “conduct additional research into the geographical area where Emile’s remains were found.” Not only the location itself, but also the position of the bones at the time of their discovery are important.

And the remains themselves will also be thoroughly analyzed, looking for any traces. This is done by the Criminal Research Institute of the Gendarmerie Nationale in Pontoise, near Paris. “Maybe we will find elements that will allow us to direct the investigation, close some doors and open others,” says Marie-Laure Pezant.

Just Thursday, one was found for the first time in Haut-Vernet mise en situation place, a kind of role play. 17 people were called in, including everyone present on the day of Emile’s disappearance. In this way, the investigators wanted to record in detail the actions of everyone present in the last moments before the disappearance. No details about this reconstruction were subsequently released.
