Christophe and Kobe received the most votes from the viewers and were allowed to compete for the title ‘The Voice of Flanders 2024’. The viewers finally chose Christophe. The 43-year-old Christophe (teddy bear) Verholle from Roeselare ultimately won the VTM talent competition. Good for 25,000 euros and a single. With many thanks to coach Laura Tesoro who picked up the dropped Christophe and gave him another chance in ‘The Comeback Stage’. Talk about a surprise.
But Flanders also enjoyed the performance of 23-year-old Kobe Simoens (Scheldewindeke). And how? With ‘Don’t Pass Me By’ (Sean Costello), Devil’ (Shinedown) and finally with Crying (Aerosmith), Kobe made it clear that he is a formidable singer and entertainer. He drags you along. He forces you to the edge of your seat. Strong personality and talented. The audience in the VTM studio was immediately captivated by Kobe. His distinctive blues voice will not leave you indifferent. Kobe once again received rave reviews and stormy applause each time. Kobe performed three beautiful songs with flair. Was there a classman performing there? Anyway. Fans in the studio, also from Oosterzele, are frenzied: natural talent Kobe sparks and dazzles. Vocally again very strong. He proved once again that he can handle many music genres. You continued to listen intently to the affable Kobe. The glow in his eyes, the fire he cherishes in front of a stage, becomes a blowtorch. Strikingly, the lead singer of The Mighty Black Camel Blues Band feels at home on stage. He has long learned what a performance entails. It radiates from the fact that he sings with heart and soul. Energy that becomes visible. With full commitment. Podium stability. The hearts wrapped. The sacred fire is in Kobe. A portion of Kobe is good. His style works. Charisma.
