According to a source who was able to closely follow the recordings, one farmer had already experienced an intimate night with one of his candidates. It is not known exactly which farmer is involved – Ty, Mitchell, Brandon or Nathan. However, the woman in question had a pregnancy test performed. It has not yet been confirmed whether it turned out to be positive. “But if it were, it would be a huge plot twist,” said the source in ‘New Idea’. “It certainly happens that someone has a child together after the end of the show, but during the show? That has never happened before.”

It is not the first time that an unwanted pregnancy has caused a commotion at the Australian ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’. In season 11, a candidate also became pregnant, but from a different farmer than the one she had registered for. Hayley joined in to win the heart of farmer Matt. But just before the final selection moment, she was suddenly sent home. And so Hayley contacted farmer Will behind the scenes. The two began an affair even after Will started a relationship with his chosen ‘winner’ Jaimee.

During a reunion episode, Hayley dropped the bombshell. “I am 22 weeks pregnant with Farmer Will’s child,” she stated. However, the two broke up after she told him she was pregnant. Will even initially questioned his paternity. “If this is really my child, I will be there when the child needs me. Even if we are not a couple as parents,” he responded. “When the time comes, I will be the best father I can be.” However, after a short relationship, Hayley was left as a single mother.
