The riders of the WVUR gathered at Stal De Ark last weekend. On Saturday evening the Krismar Grand Prix was won by Tom Camerlijnck.
With the 7-year-old Cancun de Vy Z, a daughter of Corydon van T&L, Camerlijnck was one of the nine finalists in the 1.25m jump-off and sent the Yves Vilain breeding product to victory. In addition, Camerlijnck had another iron in the fire and also landed third in the saddle of Toulon descendant Gaudi de Hus. In between, Vic Pintelon took second place with the 8-year-old Stanley vd Hunters Z (Hunters Scendix).
For Kelly Dhondt and Marielle de Vauxelles (Va-Vite), fourth place went to Sarah Ver Linde and Caram’belle vd Barre Hoogte Z (Carambolle vd Hunters).
At a height of 1.15m it was Jonah Becu who was able to win the Result Equine Prize with the 7-year-old Rigolade from Hof Ter Boone (Vleut, breeder: Johan and Marleen Vandamme – Couvreur). Emma Gilgemyn and Happy Lady de Winghe (Lancer II) came second, followed by Julie Devloo with Kaylinn K (Connect) in third.
Marie Dekersgieter wins the Fun Tour
On Sunday the Fun Tour ended with a 1.10m main win for Marie Dekersgieter in the saddle of the 7-year-old Rozalie vd Hoeve Klein Goed Te Gavers (Harley VDL). Awana Ramael counted on 8-year-old Quinette Ma (Absolute Tobiano) to finish second ahead of Yente Pauwels and Javaro (Calvaro) in third.
The 1m Youth Criterion was won by Lars Annys in combination with Double Trouble. Emily Dereere came second with Katharina van de Durmstede (Equistro) and Jorn Bruyneel came third on Ciara vh Lepelhof Z (Casanova).
Thibault van Hollebeke triumphs in Pony Youth Criterion
The highest youth criterion for ponies was completed over a height of 1.10m and was won by Thibault van Hollebeke and the stallion Gigolo. Only they finished flawlessly. Noor de Rous and Nero van het Pleintje (Ten Ankers Jerolianca) took second place ahead of Jitske Vantieghem and Coolfin King of Hearts (Village King).
Nils Desplenter won the 1m Youth Criterion in the saddle of 9-year-old Jaconda. Margot Debussche sent the BWP stallion Vasco Optimus, a descendant of Goliath vd Groeneweg, to second place, followed by Lisette Debucquoy and Natano (Il Natrio vd Zwartbleshoeve) in third place.
