The names of Jaouad F. and Ridouan Taghi are frequently mentioned in the file, it became apparent on Monday on the first day of this criminal case in the court in Zwolle.

Investigation 26Woltz revolves around an extensive weapons cache, assaults and the attempt to kill Cor P. in the Dominican Republic. The fugitive P. was shot in January 2022. He was hit fourteen times but survived the attack. The Public Prosecution Service sees behind all this a professional organization with two ‘brokers’: Krystian M. (28) and 24-year-old Carlos van der S. They managed executors who were called ‘soldiers’.

Krystian M. is also suspected of being a murder broker in the murder of Peter R. de Vries. He allegedly arranged that murder on Taghi’s instructions. M., like Taghi and Jaouad F., is not on trial in 26Woltz investigation.

One of the other alleged victims of Van der S.’s group was an Albanian who allegedly stole cocaine from Taghi, one of the prosecutors said.
