Accidents caused many delays on the Brabant highways on Wednesday morning. For example, people at the Hooipolder junction have to deal with an hour of traffic jam from Nieuwendijk after an accident involving two trucks. According to Rijkswaterstaat, if you want to go to Breda, it is best to take a detour. Earlier in the morning things went wrong on the A2 and A16.

Rijkswaterstaat expects to spend up to twelve hours dealing with the accident involving the trucks on the A27. People who want to go to Breda are advised to drive via the A2, A65 and A58.

The traffic jam caused by the accident on the A2 is slowly clearing up. Due to an accident at the Empel junction, traffic heading towards Utrecht must expect some delays. Several cars were involved in the accident. Due to the accident, traffic in the direction of Utrecht could only drive in one lane. This leads to traffic jams, especially between the Veghel exit and the Kerkdriel exit.

Earlier in the morning something went wrong on the A16, including a truck. Due to an accident there, two lanes of the A16 from Rotterdam towards Breda were closed close to Zevenbergschen Hoek.
