As part of Destiny 2: Into the Light, Bungie is today launching a new raid boss activity called Pantheon. Here, players can take on the challenge in a PvE boss rush mode. The difficulty of the in-game event will increase over the coming weeks. Starting with four raid bosses in the first week, eventually expanding to eight consecutive boss battles in the fourth week. By completing challenges, players can unlock new rewards. This includes Adept raid weapons and Exotic armor. Guardians who achieve the highest scores are rewarded with the best prizes and earn the title ‘Godslayer’. Pantheon starts today and will run until June 3, 2024.
Pantheon Raid Ring
For players who have completed the necessary Pantheon challenges, there is the opportunity to obtain the exclusive physical Pantheon Raid Ring. This sterling silver ring offers a distinctive way to proudly display their achievements. The Pantheon Raid Ring is a new version of the iconic Raid Ring from 2020, with a beautifully sculpted skull emblem. All players who complete the Pantheon Challenges on any of the levels before 3:00 PM ET on June 3 will have the opportunity to purchase the Pantheon Raid Ring through the Bungie Store.
Team Clyde VS Team Sweat
In addition to the launch of the in-game event, two raiding teams of six content creators will compete to be the first to complete all of Pantheon’s challenges. This includes modifiers that increase in complexity. Team Clyde is led by GsxrClyde and competes against Team Sweat, which is controlled by Sweatcicle. The captain of the winning team will win a life-size physical copy of the fan-favorite Falling Guillotine BRAVE Arsenal sword.
Cosplay Cosmodrome
Last week, Bungie announced the return of the creative community event called Cosplay Cosmodrome. In tribute to the story that leads to the conclusion of the Light and Darkness saga, several cosplayers from all over the world will be portraying their beloved Destinycharacters. One of the 9 participants is the Dutch cosplayer Willow Creative (living in Florida), who created a beautiful cosplay of Savathûn during the previous Cosmodrome. This year she unleashes her creativity on the character Mithrax. All cosplayers participating in the Cosplay Cosmodrome event are:
