There was a robbery at a snack bar in Rotterdam on Tuesday evening. Around 10 p.m., a man wearing a balaclava threatened the staff with a knife in Oranjeboomstraat.
The perpetrator stole money from the cash register. No one was injured in this robbery. The police are investigating.
A man was robbed in Poortugaal on Tuesday evening around 9:30 PM. He had just withdrawn money from a machine in Waalstraat, after which the victim had to hand over his money at knifepoint.
A woman was also threatened afterwards, but nothing was taken from her. It is unclear how many perpetrators are involved.
Customs found 500 kilos of cocaine in the port of Rotterdam on Tuesday. The drugs were in a container with scrap metal and had a street value of 37.5 million euros.
