It would mainly be a mental boost and that is what they have been waiting for at Union for a while. The football is not that bad, but if the points don’t come… With a win, Union will remain in third place, but the turnaround has started to start the return matches full of title ambition.

The first points were taken at Antwerp last weekend after a start of 0/9. If the Great Old wants to make a difference and move up in the rankings, they better win. The gap with Genk’s third place remains 5 points and a third place that could potentially lead to the Europa League is very far away.
