Japanese virtual pop artist Hatsune Miku can be seen in AFAS Live on October 30. It was developed for a software program that allows users to make music. The music company behind the software, Crypton Future Media, announced a European tour on Monday.

Hatsune Miku is popular as a Japanese pop star. She is depicted as a teenage girl with long, blue-green hair. During the show she can be seen as a hologram.

The music heard during the shows is created by users of the software program. Users can use the software program to compose music and enter text, which is then converted into song. Hatsune Miku’s voice was created using voice samples from actress Saki Fujita.

According to the organization, Hatsune Miku is the world’s first virtual talent created by the public. The virtual pop star previously performed as a support act for Lady Gaga and in the television program Late Show with David Letterman.

Ticket sales for the show in AFAS Live start on Friday, April 5. In addition to Amsterdam, Hatsune Miku will also be shown in London, Brussels, Paris, Düsseldorf and Berlin.
