DONE DEAL: Club Brugge trumps Celtic and Basel for Anderlecht target and has secured a transfer worth millions – Transfer news

--

Club Brugge has big plans. And to this end, it already managed to complete its first deal in April. Ardon Jashari is Blue-Black’s first summer signing. He signs a three-year contract and comes from Lucerne in the summer.

Ardon Jashari is a 21-year-old Swiss with roots in North Macedonia and comes from the Swiss FC Luzern, for whom he made his debut at the age of 18 and where he has since managed to set the course as captain.

The defensive midfielder has already scored 6 goals and 4 assists this season for the number seven team in the Swiss league. Jashari is also a youth international for his country and therefore impresses just about everywhere.

Many teams were interested in the young midfielder. There was interest from Anderlecht last summer, while Basel, Werder Bremen and Celtic Glasgow had him on their radar. Yet he chooses Club Brugge.

Five million euro deal

There he must ensure that there is strength in midfield again, after a year in which Eder Balanta and Raphael Onyedika had difficulties and Mats Rits left for Anderlecht. The deal would be worth more than five million euros.

Club Brugge has also officially announced the deal on its social channels and provided more information about the matter. The 21-year-old Swiss signed a contract with blue-black until June 2028 and will arrive in Bruges this summer.
