A Dutchman from Leopoldsburg (45) and a man from Beringen (38) have been sentenced to prison by the criminal court of Hasselt after they seriously assaulted and inhumanely treated a 49-year-old man. The victim suffered numerous blows, was shot with an air gun and threatened with death several times. “It seems like the victim was being punished for something. We don’t know for what exactly, but it is clear that they would make him pay for it,” said his lawyer.
