Anyone who has been following our polls for a while will notice that we also asked this question to our readers exactly a year ago. Then Windows 11 emerged as the winner, but it turned out that almost one in three IT professionals also stuck with Windows 10. Even Windows 7 and 8.1, despite the end of support, had not yet completely disappeared from our IT landscape.
A lot has changed in Windows 11 since a year ago. With Copilot, Windows has gotten its own AI assistant. Microsoft continues to lure users to Windows 11 in increasingly subtle ways. And what about macOS and the Linux distributions?
