LtdMetejoor (33) is forced to miss the last two concerts of his theater tour. The Flemish singer himself announced this on his social media. “My team and I have decided to clear my agenda for two weeks,” he said.
Metejoor would normally perform at the Capitole in Ghent on May 10 and 11, but those performances have now been postponed to a later date. “Right now I don’t feel so ‘BIG’,” the singer explains his decision on Instagram. With the message, Joris Van Rossem, Metejoor’s real name, also refers to his new single ‘GROOT’. He immediately announces new dates. The singer will catch up on the shows in question on October 23 and 24. “Ticket buyers will be personally informed.” To conclude, Metejoor apologizes for the inconvenience. “I hope to be back to normal soon, so that together we can once again enjoy the wonderful concerts to come for 100%.”
His management says that Metejoor’s health comes first. “After the concert in the AB, it became apparent that there was a need for some rest in the agenda and we wholeheartedly grant him that,” he said.

Much understanding
At the end of last week, Metejoor also canceled a performance in Roeselare a few hours before the start. “It is with great pain in my heart that I have to cancel tonight’s show due to illness,” it said on social media. The singer already announced that the performance would be moved. “My team is doing everything it can to find a new date as quickly as possible. All ticket buyers will be contacted about this,” it said. A new date has also been announced for this performance, namely Friday, October 25.
Metejoor also thanked the crew and organizers of the Schiervelde Stadium, who had arranged everything. The singer also apologized for the inconvenience. “Sorry to all the people who have already made the trip or are on their way. I look forward to celebrating this day with you.” Metejoor could count on a lot of understanding from his fans at the time. “Health is still the most important thing” and “Take all the rest you need” were just some of the many understanding responses.
