HARELBEKE – The Harelbeek energy company Earth has taken over the B2C activities of Vinci Energies. The B2B part of the activities are not included in the sale. Earth is the extremely fast-growing energy company of Luc Demeyere and Stijn Rigolle. Earth, like Vinci Energies, provides energy advice and offers environmental and energy-friendly solutions to a broad portfolio of customers.

This acquisition allows us to further expand our reach and enable even more homeowners to embrace the power of solar energy. We now have an additional base of operations in Belgium, next to South West Flanders. This allows us to better serve the Antwerp, Limburg and Liège region with local project engineers and local installation teams. Different focus
Despite the sale, the EPC business, or the B2B part of the PV activities, will remain part of Vinci Energies, under the brand name IZEN. Earth has only acquired the B2C activities of Vinci Energies.
“Given our profile, as an integrator of tailor-made multi-technical solutions, the B2C segment is not strategic for us,” explains Marc Lemaire, managing director of Vinci Energies in Belgium. “Now, a few years after the takeover, we have looked for and found a reliable party for it.”
