American singers Taylor Swift and SZA took home the most statues during the iHeartRadio Awards ceremony. Swift received the awards for Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year and Best Lyrics for the song Is It Over Now (Taylor’s Version). SZA received the statuette for Song of the Year for Kill Bill. The 34-year-old singer also won the awards for R&B Song of the Year (Snooze), R&B Album of the Year (SOS) and R&B Artist of the Year.

This year, for the first time, there were separate prizes for the Pop and K-pop categories. In addition to the Pop Artist of the Year, which went to Swift, the award for Pop Song of the Year went to Flowers by Miley Cyrus. In the K-pop category, Jung Kook took home the statuette for K-pop Artist of the Year, and FIFTY FIFTY received it for the song Cupid (Twin Version).

During the ceremony in Los Angeles, Beyoncé was honored with the Innovator Award as a “global cultural icon”. Cher received the Icon Award for her “unparalleled contributions to music and pop culture for more than seven decades.” The Landmark Award went to both Green Day and TLC.

The iHeartMusic Awards were presented for the eleventh time this year by the streaming platform of the same name from America. The show featured performances by Green Day and Justin Timberlake, among others. This year the presentation was in the hands of rapper and actor Ludacris.
