Briddy Baens elected Miss Limburg International 2024 (Hasselt)

Last Saturday, May 4, the annual Miss Elections were held again in the Ritmostudios in Hasselt by the modeling agency Models Ins Int, led by Joseline Panis from Bilzen.

This year all elections were organized in one evening. Both the Miss Limburg Int, the Miss Mannequin Int, the Mister Limburg Int. and Dressking, the Miss Young Mannequin Int, Miss Lady Mannequin Int (up to 55 years) and Miss Over Lady Mannequin Int (55+) were all elected simultaneously. In the first round there was an act by all candidates, starting with the kids and teens. Balls, hoops and tennis rackets were just some of the props brought out. This was followed by another round in casual clothing and the final round was walked in formal clothing, chosen by the candidates themselves. The evening was presented by Daan Ketelslegers from Genk and the jury consisted of 5 people, chaired by Annick Eycken. During the scoring, the band G&G (Gaetano & Guiseppe) performed to entertain the audience.The awards ceremony started with the awards for the laureates who can go to the ‘Best Model of Europe’ election in Lloret de Mar in the summer. This was followed by the side and main prizes. Miss Young Mannequin Int 2024 was 14-year-old Fien from Diepenbeek, Miss Lady Mannequin Int 2024 was Teressa from Tongeren and Miss About Lady Mannequin 2024, Diane W. also from Tongeren. Mister Limburg Int 2024 was 18-year-old Elias B. from Zonhoven and Dressking 2024 Timothy DS. Kiona Machiels (17) from Kortessem was chosen as Miss Mannequin Int 2024 with the two honorary ladies Janien B. and Afeny O., both from Maasmechelen, at her side.And then the supreme moment: the presentation of the titles Miss Limburg Int 2024 for both Dutch Limburg and Belgian Limburg. Yvana W. (21), living in Gingelom but with Dutch nationality, was crowned Miss Limburg Int NL and for Belgium the crown went to Briddy Baens (19) from Bocholt with the honorary ladies Axelle (18) from Lummen and Zonne (17) from Hoeselt.
