About 5,200 teachers and representatives of various education unions from across the country descended on Brussels today to protest against the current education policy in Belgium. And it turned out to be no ordinary protest, but one with… underpants. An improved staff statute, reduction in workload, quality employment conditions and fair wages and pensions. We walked along for a while.
