With spring in the air, our hearts are already longing for cozy aperitifs in some wonderful first rays of sunshine. You’ll soon be sipping cocktails in these Brussels rooftop bars with a view.

1. Perché rooftop bar

At rooftop bar Perche on the roof of the hip JAM Hotel, a former art school that was transformed into an absolute dream location by designer Lionel Jadot, it is always a holiday. The rooftop spreads over two floors: on the first floor you can dip your toes in the heated swimming pool. On the top floor you can enjoy a phenomenal view of the Brussels skyline. In addition to trendy cocktails, culinary snacks and a loungey Barceloneta atmosphere are also on offer. Without a doubt one of the most relaxed southern-themed rooftop bars in Brussels.

Charleroise Steenweg 132, 1060 Sint-Gillis.

2. Tope

In the spring of last year, the ’70s-inspired, trendy hotel The Hoxton opened a branch in our capital, near the Brussels herb garden. On their rooftop bar Tope you can enjoy Mexican-inspired dishes, fresh cocktails and a beautiful view of the region around Brussels. Give us a margarita and tacos with guacamole!

Victoria Reginaplantsoen 1, 1210 Brussels.

3. The Eight rooftop

Bee The Eight Rooftop on the eighth floor of the Bedford Hotel enjoy a panoramic view of the city. The bar specializes in cocktails of the highest level. Specialized waiters shake together the most original creations. From an ‘Abradadabra’ with rum and popcorn syrup to a ‘Mr. Batóm’ based on basil-infused Bulldog gin and vermouth to ‘Mexican sour’ with mezcal and homemade ginger & honey syrup: we think every signature cocktail is worth an experiment.

4. Secret rooftop by Warwick

On the sixth floor of Warwick Brussels, a four-star hotel near Central Station, has an elegant suite with a spacious terrace that you can rent in winter for parties and events. In the summer months, the hotel transforms both suite and terrace into an exotic rooftop bar. The menu not only includes imaginative cocktails such as Sunny Lavender and Ocean Wave, but also a whole range of original summer mocktails.

Duquesnoystraat 5, 1000 Brussels. From April 17.

5. Soko rooftop

When Soko Rooftop opened its doors a few years ago, it instantly became an Instagram hotspot. The bar owes this not only to its trendy vibe, but also to… the unique location. Soko Rooftop took up residence on the eleventh floor of a modern building complex right on the edge of the building Sonian Forest. Enjoy a snack and a drink while you watch the sun slowly disappear behind the Green Lung of Brussels in the background: it’s possible here! One of the nicest rooftop bars in Brussels.

Mechelsesteenweg 455, 1950 in Kraainem. Opening soon: follow @sokorooftop for the exact date.

6. 58 Rooftop

The view over Brussels city from the famous Parking 58 is cultural heritage in the collective memory of almost every Brussels resident. When that building was demolished in 2017, it made way for Brucity. You will now find it on the ninth floor 58 Rooftop & panoramic eatery, a trendy rooftop bar with a 360-degree view of our capital. In addition to cocktails, juicy burgers and lighter street food are also on the menu. With its three thousand square meters of surface area, 58 Rooftop can even call itself the largest roof terrace in all of Europe.

Bisschopsstraat 1, 1000 Brussels.

7. Albert

On the flanks of the Brussels Kunstberg it is pleasant to stay in the summer. And since a few years even more pleasant than before: on the fifth floor of KBR, the Royal Library of Belgium established the gigantic roof terrace of restaurant albert. From very early in spring you can enjoy the first rays of sunshine and the exceptional cooking skills of the chef. Philip Fransen.
