Fien Germijns surprises everyone with a very unexpected performance: “Waaaaaaaat?!?!”

One of the artists performing at the 41 hours of Studio Brussels is Krezip. For presenter Fien Germijns it is a special moment: she has been a big fan for almost all her life.

“I am so crazy about one particular song that I have sung it to my neighbors ad nauseam and that it is my go-to song in karaoke,” she says on stage. That song is of course ‘I Would Stay’.

“I said to the editor – to laugh, of course: ‘Wow, that would be great if I could sing the second voice.'” Her dream comes true, because singer Jacqueline allows her to do so.

She does surprisingly well, and her performance provokes a lot of enthusiastic reactions on social media. Fien receives a lot of compliments from her showbiz colleagues.

“Waaaaaaaat?!?!,” responds Leen Dendievel . “Love it!”, writes Natalia . “How certain! Sung so well!”, says Isabelle Van Hecke. “Nothing like people who remain themselves. Remaining spontaneous in a stressful situation and then singing along in the right tone, that shows great class,” says Sergio Quisquater.
