The celebration of ‘Peace on Earth’ will be extended to Mother’s Day this year. Presenter Sven de Leijer and co-host Soe Nsuki put mother figures in the spotlight in their studio in Ostend. “’Peace on Earth’ has now become a permanent fixture during the Christmas holidays. A warm blanket in the coldest period of the year. From now on, we also want to create that pleasant, positive atmosphere at other times of the year. And there is no better moment in the spring than the day on which we put all the mothers in Flanders in the spotlight,” says Lotte Vermeir, VRT 1 network manager, enthusiastically.
De Leijer agrees with this: “Both Soe and I have had beautiful children in recent years and since then we realize even more how special parenting is. We look forward to sharing our positive message of ‘Peace on Earth’ this Mother’s Day.”
