Thibaut Courtois (31) has become a father for the third time. The Real Madrid goalkeeper and his wife Mishel Gerzig (26) welcomed a daughter: Ellie. Courtois already has two children from a previous relationship with Adriana (8) and Nicolas (6). “Welcome to the world, our little Ellie,” they announced the happy news on Instagram.

Ellie was born last Saturday, March 30, and is Courtois and Gerzig’s first child. “Welcome to the world, our little Ellie. We love you so much!”, the couple announced their happy news on Instagram.
Courtois already has two children from a previous relationship: Adriana (8) and Nicolas (6). “They are very sweet and accepted me quickly. We are one family and it is really heartwarming. They see me as their friend. I like that. I hope this unique bond continues,” Gerzig previously said about them. “It’s no secret that when someone has children from a previous relationship, it’s not always easy for the new partner. But I’m really lucky: they’re great kids.”
Courtois is currently recovering from a torn meniscus in his right knee, for which he underwent successful surgery two weeks ago. He will be sidelined for six weeks.
