Jim Parsons found his return as Sheldon ‘not quite creepy’ | RTL Boulevard

--

Jim Parsons (51) thought it was ‘very strange’ to reprise the role of Sheldon Cooper after five years for the conclusion of ‘Big Bang Theory’ spin-off ‘Young Sheldon’. Nevertheless, it was also a very nice experience because the actor was able to do it together with Big Bang co-star Mayim Bialik (48), he said in an interview with ‘Today’ on NBC.

“Together with Mayim, this situation was just different enough that it didn’t become creepy”

According to Jim, it was especially strange that there was no audience present, as was always the case The Big Bang Theory. “Together with Mayim, it was just different enough in this situation that it didn’t become creepy,” the actor said. “Instead of thinking: ‘What are we doing here?’ It was very sweet. It felt like a very nice ending to a beautiful experience and I’m glad they asked us for this.”

In Young Sheldon Iain Armitage plays the young version of Sheldon Cooper, the character in The Big Bang Theory was played by Jim. The actor was the voiceover in all seven seasons.

The Big Bang Theory was shown for twelve seasons between 2007 and 2019. Mayim played the role of Amy Farrah Fowler, who became romantically involved with Jim’s character.
