Self-employed people Inge (47) and David (46) have varying incomes, but still consciously deposit all their money into joint accounts. “I even help pay for his daughters’ alimony,” Inge testifies. In our series ‘Love and budget’ the couple explains how they arrange their income and expenses. Budget coach Sarah Zwaenepoel sees some areas for improvement: “They would be happy to set aside a few hundred euros per month.”
