SLIEDRECHT – There will be three art exhibitions in the Sliedrechts Museum at Kerkbuurt 99. The first starts Saturday, May 4, 2024 and can be admired by works by three artists. This exhibition runs until Saturday, June 22, 2024.

This is work by Adri Stam, ‘Rest in a canoe creek’.

On display will be works by:

  • Sita de Kam. She creates art using mixed media collages from paper, monoprint and linoprint.
  • Ton Vermeulen now has his studio at DOOR in Dordrecht. His paintings are a search for composition, balance and atmosphere.
  • Adri Stam, famous for his Biesbosch paintings in A4 format. An example of fine painting with a special view of nature.

The museum speaks of a ‘versatile exhibition’ and worth seeing.

Wooden statue
In addition to these works of art, a large wooden statue, made by Henk van Bennekum, can be seen. Henk is known, among other things, for the pylon on the Adriaan Volkersingel. More of his work will be on display in the third exhibition in this series.
