Roller Coaster by Danny Vera tops the Zeeland Top 40 for the sixth time in a row

Well-known songs from BLØF, Racoon, Danny Vera and Surrender also dominate at the top, but Engel Reinhoudt and De Duts’n also conquer a place in the top 10. Partly thanks to the latter three artists, the share of dialect music is increasing. This year, eighteen dialect songs have a place in the list, which is three more than last year. In 2021, there were ten dialect songs in the Zeeland Top 40.

This year, several songs have returned to the list after a few years of absence, including A Diek Mee Boamen from Anja Kopmels, Jewannes van der Linde van De Schompen and Harder than I can handle from BLØF.

The highest new arrival is metal band Inherited from Terneuzen. The band won the national competition last month Metal Battle. The number Shitface coming in at 15.

The Zeeland Top 40 could be seen and heard this morning from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Omroep Zeeland and was presented by Elsa van Hermon and Stefan Daane.
