‘He has a plate in front of his head’

Johan Derksen reveals himself on Wednesday evening during the end credits Today Inside I have little praise for Chris Woerts, who will appear again in the much-watched talk show in Thursday’s broadcast. The sports marketer made a blatant mistake last week with ‘news’ about Formula 1 and, according to Derksen, has ‘a big deal on his head’.

“He didn’t get anything right the last time. Yes, it was good, but it was already a week old,” presenter Wilfred Genee looks ahead to Woerts’ return. Derksen jokes: “He exchanges the newspaper with the neighbors and only reads it a day later, of course.” After a joke by René van der Gijp about the reading folder, table guest Özcan Akyol sighs that he is happy that Woerts can ‘take so well’: “Someone else should already be in therapy.” Genee responds firmly: “Not Chris”, after which Derksen speaks again: “No, Chris, not, he has a plate in front of his head. That’s a commercial boy.”
