Wearing a green blouse, a black sweater and her glasses on her forehead, Daniels took the witness stand again on Thursday morning (local time). She played with her blonde hair and looked around, but kept her gaze far away from Donald Trump. As soon as Trump’s lawyer started, it became clear what she is after today: to make Daniels appear as someone who is only after money and attention and who is also not too smart.

Susan Necheles immediately asked Daniels why she did not just come out with her story, and she only did so in the run-up to the presidential election in 2016 and at a lot of money. “You wanted money, didn’t you?” Necheles asked. No, Daniels said. “I wanted the truth to come out.”

Haunted house

The Trump lawyer then asked more leading questions. “When Michael Cohen didn’t pay you the promised amount you were furious, weren’t you? Didn’t you yell at your lawyer Keith Davidson? pussy mentioned and said that you already have your leverage would lose to him if you didn’t get paid for the election?”

Daniels was also asked about the New Orleans home where she lived with her boyfriend, which she said was haunted. It was said to contain ghosts flying around that had attacked her boyfriend. “I lived in a house with interesting and inexplicable activity,” Daniels replied. “But part of that was explained by a giant skunk that turned out to be living under the house.”

Made up sex stories

The actress’s porn history was also discussed. “You have a lot of experience making made-up stories about sex look real,” Necheles said. Daniels continued to defend himself. “The sex in those films is very real, just like what happened to me in that room. If the story with Donald Trump wasn’t true, I would have written it much better.”

Did you eat together or not?

Trump’s lawyer also once again looked for differences between Daniels’ court testimony and interviews she gave about what allegedly happened that evening. Such as when Daniels said in court that she had not eaten anything with Trump and she stated in an interview in 2011 that they had eaten something together. According to Daniels, it concerns an interview in an “entertainment magazine” that uses “short and frivolous” quotes. “It is a shortened and fun version of the facts,” she said. “There are just some details missing.”

Other interviews also sometimes discussed that food and Daniels always came up with different explanations, Necheles said. “Not true, my story has always been the same,” Daniels insisted. “I’ve said in every interview that we ate together but I didn’t get any food.” Daniels also said different things in interviews about Trump’s greeting in his hotel room, the Trump lawyer believes. “Not true. Like I said: one interview was shorter than the other.” It happened several times during Necheles’ questions that she pointed out: “You made that up too, didn’t you?”, but Daniels continued to deny it. The porn actress stands her ground. “I have not changed my story, as you like to imply. It hasn’t changed.”
