The grave of Peter Gillis’ parents in Ommel (Brabant) was destroyed on Friday afternoon. The words “Stop TV” are scratched on the headstone and decorations are missing. The holiday park owner and reality star reacted in disbelief on Instagram on Saturday.
“Angry and especially sad that someone would think of destroying my mother’s grave,” Gillis writes on the platform.
“How this hurts me, this is a place of rest and you must always treat it with respect,” he continues. “Not only has chalk been painted on the grave, but a Delft blue vase with two hundred roses has also disappeared and plates have been destroyed. Very sad, how painful this hurts…”

Gillis has now reported the vandalism, he told the ANP. According to him, the police have started an investigation and already have a suspect in mind. The East Brabant police announced on Saturday that they would provide a response after the weekend.
In the reality series Massa is kas in 2022, it was also shown that vandals targeted the final resting place of Gillis’ parents. Several decorations had been stolen at the time.
