He stormed the Capitol, now ‘Bison Man’ hopes to be elected to the American parliament

Jacob Chansley, the man who became famous when he invaded the US Capitol in January 2021 wearing horns and a bearskin hat and bare-chested, aspires to a place in the House of Representatives. This is evident from legal documents reported in American media.

Jacob Chansley, also known as Jake Angeli, will be a candidate in Arizona for the Libertarian Party.

Together with hundreds of like-minded people, Chansley stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021 to prevent the validation of Joe Biden’s election victory. The man reached the Senate and sat in the seat of then Vice President Mike Pence. He left a note saying that it was only a matter of time before “justice is done.”

Together with many other stormers, Chansley supported the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Chansley was arrested a few days after the storm, and he pleaded guilty in September. He served a prison sentence until March this year. In total, more than a thousand people were charged for their participation in the deadly storm.
