Linda de Mol is back on television after months of absence. Sunday evening she presented the first episode of the new season of the SBS6 program Million dollar hunt. The audience present gave the presenter a standing ovation, which made her emotional.
In January of this year, De Mol stopped all its activities. She did this after it became known that her then partner Jeroen Rietbergen was accused of sexually transgressive behavior behind the scenes at The voice of Holland. De Mol stopped all her TV work and was also not on the cover of her magazine for months LINDA.
“I thought: I’m not going to go overboard. That didn’t work out,” she said on Sunday when the thunderous applause from her audience ebbed away. “How very sweet,” she added. “Thanks to the support and sweet messages from a whole lot of you back home, I can honestly say that I am really looking forward to this brand new season of Postcode Lottery Million Hunt.”
After that, De Mol moved on to the order of the day. She talked about the show and also commented on how much she liked that the studio was packed with audiences. “Because that was a while ago,” she said. She talked about an old-fashioned bulging studio. “At last a thousand people on the floor. How nice that you all came.”
